Justin Drew Bieber (London, Ontario, 1 de marzo de 1994),⁷ más conocido como Justin Bieber, es un cantante canadiense de pop. En 2008 un ejecutivo de la industria de la música llamado Scooter Braun descubrió a Bieber cuando lo vio accidentalmente en unos videos en YouTube y tiempo después se convirtió en su mánager.⁸ Braun reunió al joven cantante con Usher en Atlanta, Georgia, donde firmó un contrato musical con Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG) —una empresa conjunta entre Braun y Usher—⁹ y un contrato de grabación con la discográfica Island Records ofrecido por L.A.
